mark in mexico

mark just returned from a mission trip to Monterrey, Mexico where his Good Goers team worked at several different orphanages.

they worked to lay new pipes for bathrooms since the Mexican government has changed plumbing regulations but isn't giving the orphanages any financial support to implement them.

he traveled and lived with an amazing team of people and has been telling me stories since he got home.

on their last evening, mark got to do a mini-concert for about 400 orphans and their care-givers.  at the end of the concert, all of the kids came up to him and put their hands on him and prayed for him.

amazing.

these are two of the older girls in one of the orphanages...soon they will be able to transition to the Hope Homes, houses where the ministry Back2Back helps older kids continue with their education and go on to college if they choose to do so.  the sweet girl on the right wants to be a missionary when she grows up.
